JNU: Akhilesh accuses BJP of violence, demands judicial probe

LUCKNOW: Hours after masked miscreants attacked people in Jawaharlal Nehru University, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav alleged Bharatiya Janata Party of using violence and hate to polarise society and demanded judicial probe. He blamed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Paridhad (ABVP) for acting as a "storm troopers of the BJP".
Akhilesh posted a series of tweets saying: "Masked men attacking teachers and students in JNU shows the low to which the government will stoop in order to rule through fear.

The BJP is using violence and hate to polarise society and stifle dissent. The ABVP are acting like the storm troopers of the BJP (sic)."

In the first tweet, he demanded a high-level probe in the violence at the JNU campus.
“The way in which masked criminals attacked students and teachers is highly condemnable. There should be an immediate high-level judicial inquiry into this subject,” he posted a tweet.
